TEA 'N CRISP

Created and Performed by
Richard Louis James

Quentin Crisp lived a life without shame, without reservation, and without compromise. His personality and convictions are as much an inspiration as the work of Richard Louis James, who brings Crisp back to life in Tea 'N Crisp.

This one-man show is based on the writings and public appearances of the internationally precocious gay icon Quentin Crisp, and was performed during 2007 National Gay Pride week in Berkeley in celebration of flamboyant autonomy. Tea 'N Crisp was presented by the Shotgun Players, June 21-23, 2007 on the Ashby Stage in Berkeley, CA.

Tea 'N Crisp is an unauthorized adaptation of Quentin Crisp's one-man show An Evening with Quentin Crisp, which is one component of Mr. Crisp's final book, The Dusty Answers.
